Hi Laura, great to hear from you and thanks for posting. I just watched the first link that you sent. A nice fun little piece with good use of natural sound and minimal script which I am big fan of. You seem good on camera and I have no fault with your PTC's all I would suggest is that it might work to add a little movement as they felt a bit static - My personal theory is that we need to move away from the 'news' way of doing things especially for web stuff. . . Keep it up and Please feel free to post more. if you want to chat on a less public forum my email is christian@caparkinson.com

Hi Christian, I thought all they were great example of PTCs. Thank you for posting them. I'm a multi-media journalist covering the RWC in New Zealand and would love your feedback on some PTCs I've done. I'm still fairly new in the industry having been a business writer for CNN in Hong Kong for 2 years, then a reporter and anchor for a local TV station in HK (ATV) for 1 year and now a journo for stuff.co.nz - the national news website of NZ. Cheers, Laura

Good Morning Chris,
How are you and your lovely family?
I am glad and so humble to write you this day.
I read about you on cameraman.com, I am also a cameraman based in Lagos Nigeria.
Currently I am working in a post production outfit. Though I had work in a television Station for 4 years.
I respect your person; you have got verse knowledge on the field of journalism.
Coming from your pedigree way back in BBC London, finally you are now in South Africa.
I would like to have the pleasure of you being my role model?

Sam Agbaje.

Hey Chris
I'm a 38yr old black South African woman living in England for the last decade and have never attended or seen a wedding between a white and black person while living there, never on tv,magazine or newspaper.I was quite amazed to see yours, especially the fact that it was in Soweto. It was such a lovely wedding, your guests looked comfortable in each others presence.I especially like the fact that you both respected and followed your wife's culture, which must have meant a lot to her parents.
I never thought that I would see such a scene in a South African township so thank you for sharing this video so people like me can see that great change is happening in South Africa, people are becoming more accepting and tolerant of one another.

Best wishes
Mpumi x
p.s I love the dancing you looked like you had good practice.
